There’s a little over a month left to apply for the 2012 Mongolian Young Scholars Program!

YSP students will have the opportunity to take courses taught by undergraduates from Harvard, Stanford, and MIT and learn more about studying abroad. Last year, courses included Shakespeare, Social Entrepreneurship, Nuclear Nonproliferation, Languages and Linguistics, and East Asian Art. The program also includes a college preparatory curriculum and fun extracurricular activities.

Student applications are available at the top right corner under “Student Application”. We recommend starting early, as the application requires short personal essays in Mongolian and English, teacher recommendations, and school transcripts.
Application deadline: March 31, 2012.

2012 Program Application Now Available

The Mongolian Young Scholars Program is proud to announce its second program, to be held in late June 2012. Applications for teaching staff and student participants are now available.

Seminar Leader positions are open to students at Harvard, Stanford, and MIT.
Teaching Assistant positions are designed for Mongolian students studying in the United States and international universities.
Seminar leaders and teaching assistants will work together to design and teach innovative coursework.

Student applications are available from the top right corner. Teaching Staff Applications can be found as the last item of the center column on the front page.
